I'm THRILLED with this brooch! It's even more gorgeous in person than online! Based off the photos in the listing, I'm wondering if the amount of oxidation in the background varies. The background of my brooch is heavily oxidized (which I LOVE!) - more so than the photos in the listing.

The back of the brooch has the mark of a rampant lion + says 'Scotland.' It makes the brooch feel that much more special, especially since I have Scottish heritage.

Its a nice weight, not too heavy. Perfect for medium weight to heavy fabrics. I will use this to pin my medium weight ruana/wrap together.

It's such a stunning piece and I can't wait to wear it a second time. It instantly elevated my outfit! This is exactly the type of Celtic brooch I was looking for!
